Have you done one of the “Girls”? You know, the workouts that have an associated female name like Grace, Fran or Annie. These have been benchmark workouts since the very beginnings of CrossFit. They’re perfect tests of the efficacy of our program, and they are setup ingeniously to do so.

Checkout this article written by Coach Glassman from the CrossFit Journal in 2003 where he dives into the specifics of why these workouts were chosen and how they test your abilities differently. In 2004 he introduced “six new beauties” in his article “The New Girls”.
